The brand new Dell XPS 15 for 2020 has amazed us even more than past iterations of the flagship laptop, and if you can afford it, this is without a doubt one of the greatest Dell laptops in the business – you pay a little more for that 15.6-inch display than the XPS 13, but we think it’s worth it.
We’re glad to note that display has the 16:10 aspect ratio: it’s not ideal for watching widescreen movies, but it’s ideal for reading papers and navigating through websites. The entire laptop is nicely crafted and a winner from a visual standpoint, as you’d expect from the XPS series, whether it’s open or closed.
You can also upgrade the Dell XPS 15’s internal components, including Intel Core i9 processors, powerful graphics cards, and up to 64GB of RAM (enough for even the most complicated tasks). Even at the higher end of the pricing range, you get a lot of laptop for your money.

Aside from the high-end, flagship laptops that Dell produces, there are lots of budget-friendly options — the selection on Dell’s website is so extensive that you’re sure to find something that matches your budget. The big attraction is an expensive 15.6-inch screen — large screens aren’t always a guarantee at lower price ranges, but the display on this Dell laptop provides plenty of room for your video streaming programs, web browsers, and whatever else you want to run.
With SSD hard drives and AMD chipsets available on certain models, you get some really good specs to go with that screen. One of the best Dell laptops, this is very much a Dell laptop aimed at business and power users, at this price, with these specs, and that sharp 17-inch screen – you’ll have to spend a lot of money to get your hands on the Dell Precision 5750, but we don’t think you’ll be disappointed with what you get in return, if you need a laptop that can do everything a desktop can do but in a laptop form factor.
You’re getting top-tier components here, including a 10th-gen Intel Core i7-10750H processor and Nvidia Quadro T2000 graphics card, as well as some of the most premium and stable RAM sticks available, so this isn’t one for students or weekend use.
The Dell Precision 5750 manages to be lightweight and easy to carry around during the day, even with a 17-inch monitor attached, weighing only at 2.13 kg (4.7 lbs). There are four USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 connections and a full-size SD card slot to choose from when it comes to connectivity. The Dell Precision 5750 is up to the work no matter what you need to perform with your laptop.
